Creative Writing : Evening
Course (9 evenings)
A course that covers the main techniques of writing
utilising a blend of workshops, class discussion and teaching. Aimed
at novice/intermediate writers of fiction, the techniques and practices
discussed will be common to both short story and novel writing.

Finding a voice - first and third person, authorial voice |

Character - creation and development |

Plot - the arrangement of incidents |

Dramatic reconstruction - fiction, non-fiction and the role of research |
Week 8: |
Dialogue - purpose, techniques and voices |

Writing business - publishers, agents and money |
